The Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League kicked off its season opener last night with thrilling games and memorable performances. The League saw four captivating matches that left spectators at the edge of their seats.

In a nail-biting encounter, Dancing With Wolves took the lead with a hard-fought victory over Wednesday Warriors, closing the game at 11 - 8. The Wolves, with their superior agility and strategic game plan, managed to seize control of the game and kept the Warriors at bay.

Simultaneously, Wildflowers and Wanderlust locked horns in a gripping match, with Wildflowers emerging victorious by 8 - 5. Displaying commendable teamwork and exceptional execution of tactics, Wildflowers got their season off to a flying start.

One of the most anticipated matches was between Wolfy Divas and Violet Vixens, which ended in an unexpected but exciting 10 - 10 draw. Both teams showcased exceptional skills and sportsmanship that truly reflected the spirit of the league.

The last game of the night was between Winging It and Rebounders, where Rebounders outperformed their opponent with a score of 8 - 4, setting a strong precedent for the rest of the season.
