Play in the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League powered by You Play Netball
Week five of the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and exciting moments as teams across both divisions battled it out on court.
In Division 1, Avengers delivered a brilliant all-round performance against Wednesday Warriors, while Violet Vixens impressed with a strong win over Wildflowers. Shoot Happens and Winging It played out one of the closest contests of the night, with Shoot Happens just coming out on top. Pattingham Diamonds also put in a solid display to overcome Codsall Spices, and GoalDiggers secured another important win against Dancing With Wolves.
Division 2 saw more competitive action, with Go Net It claiming victory over Shoot For It. Rebounders bounced back with a great performance against Take A Shot, while Wildcats showed their strength against Net Into The Groove. Hoop For The Best continued their excellent form with a standout team display, and Hoops I Did It Again rounded off the evening with a confident win over Hoop Hustlers.
A special mention goes to Ella Artist from GoalDiggers, who was named Most Valued Player of the week after an outstanding performance showing fantastic skill, composure, and leadership on court.
With just two weeks remaining this season, the competition is heating up as teams continue to push for strong finishes. The Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League continues to showcase great sportsmanship, determination, and plenty of exciting netball every week.
