In Division 1, Avengers had a nail-biting victory over Rebounders, cinching the win with a close score of 14-12. Violet Vixens eked out a win against Dancing With Wolves in a tense match, finishing with a tight score of 6-5. Winging It, however, asserted their dominance with a clear 13-5 triumph over Wanderlust.
Division 2 was no less dramatic. Nets And The City secured a firm 6-3 victory over Hoops I Did It Again. Meanwhile, Wednesday Warriors dealt a significant blow to Flaming Divas, ending the game at 13-4. The Wildcats had a tough night, succumbing to a hefty 18-2 defeat at the hands of Wildflowers.
The spotlight of the week, however, was firmly on Isla Turnbull from Shoot Happens. Her exceptional performance on the court earned her the title of 'Most Valued Player'. Not only did she showcase commendable leadership skills, but she also demonstrated clear tactical prowess and stellar goal-shooting abilities.
While the competition is heating up, the top scorers for each division are yet to be determined. Based on the current standings, the Avengers and Winging It are proving to be serious contenders in Division 1, while Nets And The City and Wednesday Warriors seem to be leading the pack in Division 2.
