In the thrilling world of netball, the Wolverhampton Wednesday league has just wrapped up its 7th week, resulting in some remarkable performances across both Division 1 and Division 2.

In Division 1, the Avengers stormed the court with an impressive 18-10 victory over the Violet Vixens, demonstrating both strategic prowess and raw athleticism. Shoot Happens also showcased their netball mastery by decimating Go Net It with a score of 20-5, while Wildflowers danced past Dancing With Wolves with a dazzling 21-11 score. And in a tense, low-scoring duel, Winging It managed to edge out the Codsall Spices with a 3-1 win.

Over in Division 2, Hoops I Did It Again and Rebounders battled it out, with the match resulting in a 6-6 draw. Wildcats, on the other hand, outplayed the Hoop Hustlers, clinching an 11-5 victory. Hoop For The Best set the net ablaze against Net Setters, winning the match 5-2.

This week's stand-out player was none other than Chelsea Arnold from Hoop Hustlers. Despite her team's loss, Arnold’s dynamic performance on the court earned her the title of Most Valued Player for the week, demonstrating her critical role within the team.

In terms of top scorers for each division, Shoot Happens takes the crown in Division 1 with their tremendous 20-point game, whereas Wildcats lead Division 2 with their 11-point triumph. The thrilling games of this week’s Wolverhampton Wednesday league have set the stage for an exciting continuation of the season.
