Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League – Week 3 Round-Up

Another fantastic evening of netball took place in Wolverhampton as Week 3 brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and great moments across both divisions.

In Division 1, Avengers and Wildflowers played out a really close and competitive game, with both teams showing great effort throughout. A special mention goes to Nancy Hague from Wildflowers, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player for her brilliant performance on court.

Winging It delivered a strong and confident display against Wednesday Warriors, while Violet Vixens impressed with a standout team performance. Shoot Happens showed great organisation and teamwork in their match against Dancing With Wolves, and GoalDiggers edged a tight contest with Pattingham Diamonds in another well-fought game.

Over in Division 2, there were more exciting matchups on show. Go Net It and Wildcats both put in solid performances in their games, while Rebounders bounced back with a great team effort against Hoop For The Best. Hoops I Did It Again also had a positive outing, showing great determination right to the final whistle.

It’s been a brilliant start to the season, with every team showing improvement week by week. The atmosphere continues to grow, and it’s great to see so much enthusiasm and sportsmanship across the league.

We’re already looking forward to seeing what next week brings—there’s plenty more exciting netball to come in the Wolverhampton Wednesday League!
