Bedford Thursday Netball Update- Week 5 

It was another fantastic evening of netball in Week 5 of the Bedford Monday league, with plenty of smiles, teamwork and great moments across the courts. Taking to the court this week were Bedford Belles, Spice Goals, Oh Shoot, Goal Diggers, Blue Sirens and Nets In The City — and as always, the energy and encouragement from everyone involved made it a great night to be part of.

Bedford Belles and Spice Goals shared an enjoyable match, with Spice Goals coming away with an 11–5 win. It was a lovely display of teamwork from both sides, with some great passages of play and supportive sideline spirit throughout.

Oh Shoot met Goal Diggers in another lively game, finishing 14–4. There were some fantastic attacking moves and plenty of determined defending, with both teams showing real progress and positivity on court.

Blue Sirens and Nets In The City wrapped up the evening with a well-played 13–7 match. It was a brilliant team effort from both sides, with some excellent shooting and flowing play keeping the game exciting until the final whistle.

A special mention goes to Louise Gent from Blue Sirens, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm, skill and all-round contribution really stood out and helped make the evening even more memorable.

It’s wonderful to see everyone improving week by week while keeping the league fun, welcoming and social. We can’t wait to see what next Monday brings!
