A Great Night in Week 4 of the Bedford Thursday Netball League
Week 4 of the Bedford Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams taking to the court for some fast-paced games, plenty of teamwork and lots of encouragement from the side-lines.
Bedford Belles had a strong run out against Oh Shoot, finishing 33–5. Their passing and movement flowed well throughout the match, but credit to Oh Shoot for keeping spirits high and continuing to work hard as a team from start to finish.
Spice Goals and Blue Sirens shared a lively game, with Spice Goals coming away with an 18–6 result. Both teams showed great communication and effort on court, making it a positive match all round.
The closest contest of the evening was between Goal Diggers and Nets In The City, with Goal Diggers just edging ahead 11–10. It was a brilliant, evenly matched game that kept everyone engaged right until the final whistle.
A special mention goes to Alex Puffett from Blue Sirens, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Alex put in a fantastic performance, showing determination, great interceptions and positive leadership throughout the match.
As the season continues, it’s fantastic to see teams building confidence each week and enjoying their Thursday night netball in such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We’re looking forward to many more fun evenings on court in the weeks ahead.
