Week 2 of the Bedford Thursday 7-a-side Netball League took place last night, and it was another great evening of netball filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles across the Premier League division.
The Bedford Belles enjoyed a strong outing against the Blue Sirens, finishing the match 15–6. Both teams brought lots of enthusiasm to the court, with the Belles’ smooth passing and confident shooting shining throughout the game.
Oh Shoot and Nets In The City treated spectators to a close and exciting match, with Oh Shoot just edging ahead 12–10. It was a fantastic display of teamwork from both sides and one of those games that stayed engaging right until the final whistle.
Another memorable moment of the evening came from the match between Spice Goals and the Victory Vixens, which ended 17–5 to the Vixens. Despite the scoreline, Spice Goals’ Sherice Banton delivered an outstanding performance and was deservedly named MVP of the week, showing great determination and skill from start to finish.
Across the league, players stepped up for their teams and helped make the night such an enjoyable one. With such positive energy, supportive sportsmanship, and growing confidence on display, the Bedford Thursday Netball League is shaping up to be a really fun and exciting season for everyone involved.
