What a lovely evening of social netball we had at Wombourne Leisure Centre for Week 7!

It was another great night filled with plenty of smiles, teamwork, and friendly competition, with everyone enjoying being back on court and doing what they love. It’s fantastic to see the league continuing to bring players together, make new friends and enjoy netball in such a welcoming atmosphere.

Wing-its 12 – 12 The Hotshots

Our first game of the evening was a really close one, with Wing-its and The Hotshots finishing all square at 12-12! Both teams worked hard throughout and it was a brilliant game to watch, with some great teamwork and plenty of effort from everyone on court.

Dolly Mixtures 6 – 19 Phoenix Flyers

The second game saw Phoenix Flyers come away with a 19-6 win against Dolly Mixtures. Both teams played in great spirits and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying their time on court and supporting each other throughout the game.

Most Valued Player – Katie Tyler

A special shout-out to Katie Tyler from The Hotshots, who was nominated as our Most Valued Player of the Week!

Katie impressed with her energy, quick movement and fantastic attitude throughout the game. Her enthusiasm and positive spirit really stood out, making her a very deserving winner!

A huge well done to everyone who took part this week — it’s the players, the smiles, the friendships and the love of the game that make these evenings so special.

We’re already looking forward to Week 8 and another evening of fun, friendly netball!
