What a delightful evening it was at the Wombourne Leisure Centre for Week 5 of our social netball season! The atmosphere was brimming with camaraderie, inclusivity, and a keen sense of sportsmanship. Netballers of all experience levels gathered for a night of fun, fitness, and friendly competition, where the joy of the game and the spirit of the community truly shone.

The first game saw Goal Diggers and Thunder Thighs enjoy a fast-paced game. The Goal Diggers finished the game with a score of 17-10. Their teamwork, commitment, and positive energy were commendable, mirroring the spirit of the game.

Next up, Netbusters and The Hotshots engaged in an enthusiastic match. The Hotshots ended the game with a score of 22-7. Both teams demonstrated remarkable sportsmanship, fostering an atmosphere of respect and mutual support.

Phoenix Flyers and Blaze Ballers took the court for the third match. Blaze Ballers ended with a score of 15-9. Despite the score, it was the collective effort, determination, and the infectious positive energy that stole the show.

Dolly Mixtures and Wing-its wrapped up the games for the night. Dolly Mixtures concluded the game with a score of 20-12. Both teams played with great spirit, with each pass and goal reflecting their love for the game.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the week, Millie Lower from Thunder Thighs. Her enthusiasm, agility around the court, and positive influence were truly appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.

As we approach Week 6, we look forward to another evening of friendly social netball. This is more than just a game; it's about being active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive, community-oriented environment.
