The evening was filled with laughter, competitive spirit and camaraderie as the Wombourne Leisure Centre hosted Week 4 of the social netball season. The atmosphere was welcoming, with players of varying experience levels all coming together to enjoy a great night of netball.

First up were The Hotshots and Phoenix Flyers, who demonstrated incredible teamwork in a closely-fought game. The Phoenix Flyers finished the game with a final tally of 15-13. Committed players on both sides showcased their netball skills, with the game played in excellent spirit.

The Wing-its and Goal Diggers game was a highlight of the evening. The Goal Diggers, displaying their positive energy, ended the match with a score of 13-4. All players displayed commendable sportsmanship throughout the match, making it a thoroughly enjoyable game for all involved.

Next, the Thunder Thighs and Netbusters took to the court in a game brimming with positive energy and determination. Thunder Thighs finished the game ahead, with a score of 16-9. The match was played in great spirit, and the commitment from both teams was admirable.

The final game of the evening saw the Blaze Ballers take on the Dolly Mixtures. The Blaze Ballers, with their infectious enthusiasm, ended the game with a score of 13-9. Both teams showcased the essence of social netball - teamwork, commitment and good fun.

A special mention goes to Georgia Tyler from The Hotshots, recognised as the Most Valued Player for the week. Georgia’s enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
