On a lovely Sunday evening at Wombourne Leisure Centre, we celebrated Week 3 of our social netball season. The warm and welcoming atmosphere brought together players of all abilities, from those returning to the game to experienced players, all sharing the same love and passion for netball. The evening was about much more than just the matches — it was about friendship, enjoyment, staying active, and creating a positive environment for everyone involved.

Netbusters and Wing-its got the evening underway with a fantastic game full of energy and teamwork. Both teams showed great determination and commitment throughout, with some brilliant moments of play and excellent sportsmanship from start to finish.

Phoenix Flyers and Thunder Thighs followed with another enjoyable match, with both teams bringing great enthusiasm and positivity to the court. The players supported one another throughout, creating a fun and competitive game played in the true spirit of social netball.

The Hotshots and Blaze Ballers then took to the court for another exciting fixture. Both teams demonstrated fantastic teamwork, encouragement, and a real enjoyment for the game, making it another great match to watch.

The final game of the evening saw Goal Diggers and Dolly Mixtures battle it out in a brilliant display of teamwork and friendly competition. Both teams finished the night on a high, showing exactly what social netball is all about.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the Week, Hayley Moody from Phoenix Flyers. Hayley's enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive attitude stood out, earning praise from both her teammates and opponents. A well-deserved recognition!

As we look ahead to Week 4, we can't wait to welcome everyone back for another evening of friendly social netball. Whether you're returning to the sport, looking to meet new people, or simply wanting to enjoy being active, our league is all about having fun, building confidence, and celebrating the game we all love.
