The Amazeballs showcased a stunning performance, besting the Dolly Mixtures, 19-13, to secure their title. Their victory rounded off an impressive season tally of 24 points achieved through 12 wins. This herculean effort indisputably established Amazeballs as the top team in the League division.
The Hotshots also displayed a remarkable performance besting the Blaze Ballers with a 12-9 victory. Despite their best efforts, they fell short of clinching the title, yet provided spectators with nail-biting suspense and a high level of competition throughout the season.
The star of the league was Tammie Alexander from Thunder Thighs. Her consistent performance and tenacious spirit earned her the title of the league's "Most Valued Player". Alexander's outstanding performance throughout the season raised the bar for future competitions and made her a standout player to remember.
With the end of the 14-week long season, the Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League has shown the height of local talent and fierce competition. These matches have proved once again the high level of competition at the grassroots level of netball in the area.
