Play in the Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League powered by You Play Netball

It was a fantastic start to the Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League, with teams bringing great energy, teamwork, and plenty of exciting moments to kick off the season.

Wing-its got off to a brilliant start, showing strong chemistry and confidence from the first whistle. A standout performance came from Morgan Owen, who was deservedly named Player of the Week thanks to some excellent movement and sharp shooting.

Thunder Thighs also impressed with a really solid team performance, working well together across the court and showing they’ll be a team to watch this season.

The Hotshots lived up to their name with a great attacking display in a closely contested game, keeping things exciting right to the end. Both teams showed fantastic effort and determination throughout.

Phoenix Flyers rounded off the action with a strong performance of their own, edging a competitive match through great teamwork and smart play.

All in all, it’s been a brilliant opening week with lots of positives across the board. If this is anything to go by, we’re in for a really fun and competitive season ahead — we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!
