Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League - Week 5

Wolverhampton's much-anticipated Sunday Netball League delivered another week of top-shelf sporting action, showcasing the dramatic battles that unfolded in the League.

Blaze Ballers and Dolly Mixtures clashed in a fierce contest, ultimately seeing Blaze Ballers emerge victorious with a 24-14 win. The team showcased their exceptional teamwork and netball skills, solidifying their place in the league.

Tension was rife on the court as Wing-its and Goal Diggers faced off. Despite a valiant effort from Wing-its, Goal Diggers managed to secure a 16-10 victory, demonstrating their superior strategy and precision.

The Thunder Thighs and Netbusters match was one of the evening's most closely fought battles. Thunder Thighs managed to edge past their competitors, securing a 14-8 win and leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

In a thrilling display of netball prowess, Phoenix Flyers triumphed over The Hotshots with a 16-10 victory. This match was particularly notable for the performance of Georgia Tyler from The Hotshots, who put on a sterling display despite her team's result. Her exceptional gameplay and sportsmanship earned her the accolade of the week's Most Valued Player.

While the Hotshots didn't manage to secure a win this week, Georgia Tyler's standout performance highlighted the depth of talent within the team and hints at a promising future in the league.
