In week six of the exciting Wilmslow Tuesday Netball league, the energy was palpable. Teams battled fiercely, showcasing their skills and teamwork on the court.
Slay And Play faced Out Of Your League in a fast-paced game that saw Out Of Your League come away with a 16-2 win. Slay And Play kept pushing throughout, and a standout performance from Charlotte Sugrue earned her the title of Most Valuable Player of the week for her effort, skill, and leadership on court.
Misbehaving and Can’t Catch Us played out a close and exciting game, with Misbehaving just edging it 6-4. Both teams showed great communication and determination from start to finish.
Too Hot To Handle took on Big Bib Energy in a match that saw Big Bib Energy find their rhythm early on and build momentum, finishing with an 11-1 win. Too Hot To Handle kept their heads up and continued working hard right to the final whistle.
Off The Charts and Game Faces On battled it out in one of the tightest games of the night, with Off The Charts just taking the win 8-6 after a well-matched contest full of quick passes and solid defending.
Centre Of Attention closed the evening with a confident performance against Get A Grip, taking the game 10-2. Get A Grip brought positive energy to the court and never stopped encouraging one another throughout.
I'd just like to remind all teams that the subbing rule is in place for a reason; making the matches fair for all teams. For example, if you are a shooter for your team, you cannot sub in either GS or GA for another team. If you would like more clarity on this rule, please give me a call to discuss. Our lovely umpires are there to implement this rule on behalf of the league.
