Week six of the Wilmslow Tuesday Netball League brought another round of exciting matches, with every team showing determination, teamwork, and a true passion for the game.

Slay And Play opened the evening with a strong performance against Out Of Your League. Both sides played with great energy, but Out Of Your League managed to find their rhythm early on, taking the win 6-1. Slay And Play continued to battle hard throughout, showing great spirit and resilience until the final whistle.

Misbehaving went head-to-head with Seven Sisters in a fast-paced and competitive game. Both teams displayed impressive attacking play, but Misbehaving managed to edge ahead, securing a 14-6 victory thanks to their consistency and teamwork.

Too Hot To Handle faced Big Bib Energy in another entertaining clash. Big Bib Energy’s sharp passing and communication helped them to a well-earned 11-3 win, though Too Hot To Handle continued to press and showed plenty of determination across all four quarters.

The final match of the night saw Off The Charts take on Game Faces On in an action-packed encounter. Off The Charts came away with a 15-5 victory after a strong all-round performance, though Game Faces On never stopped fighting and kept the energy high throughout.

Despite the result, it was a night to remember for Game Faces On’s Plum Jones, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her agility, vision, and tireless effort stood out, earning well-deserved recognition from players and spectators alike.

As week six wraps up, the competition continues to heat up. With every match showcasing incredible talent and teamwork, the Wilmslow Tuesday Netball League promises even more excitement in the weeks ahead.

From next week, we will be playing to the rule of foot behind the line. This is a rule that our umpires have been fairly lenient with, but will now be calling ... so watch those feet ladies!
