Wilmslow Tuesday news 01/07/2025

Week 8 of the Wilmslow Tuesday Netball League was full of great energy, teamwork, and competitive spirit with all teams putting in strong performances and showing plenty of determination.

First up, Get A Grip took on Out Of Your League in a game where both sides worked hard from start to finish. Out Of Your League managed to take the win with a 15-6 scoreline, but Get A Grip showed great moments of play and kept battling right to the final whistle.

Too Hot To Handle faced Game Faces On in a match that was full of effort from both teams. Game Faces On secured the win with a 21-1 result, but Too Hot To Handle kept their heads up and continued to work together, with Sarah Morgan standing out for her excellent performance and earning this week's Most Valued Player award.

Slay and Play and Can’t Catch Us treated spectators to a close and exciting game. Slay and Play just edged ahead with an 8-6 win, but both teams played with great energy, and it could have gone either way right up to the final moments.

Centre Of Attention came up against Big Bib Energy in another well-contested match. Big Bib Energy took the win 8-5, but Centre Of Attention showed plenty of determination and some great passages of play throughout the game.

Finally, Off The Charts and Misbehaving rounded off the evening. Off The Charts secured a 19-6 win, finding their rhythm early on, while Misbehaving kept working hard and showed real spirit all the way through.

As we head into Week 9, it’s fantastic to see the teams giving it their all, supporting one another, and creating such a positive, competitive atmosphere.
