The fifth week of Coalville Sunday netball brought plenty of competitive and well-contested matches, with teams demonstrating skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the evening.
One of the closest games saw Panthers take on Coalville Cheetahs. The Cheetahs secured a narrow 3–1 win after a hard-fought contest. Both sides showed commitment and effort, but the Cheetahs’ organisation and movement helped them edge ahead.
Netsetters continued their strong run of form with a 15–2 victory over We Don’t Give A Shot. Their accurate shooting and smooth passing were key factors in the result.
Nets Club 7 also delivered a confident performance, earning a 22–5 win against Win Or Booze. Consistent attacking play combined with solid defence helped them maintain control throughout the match.
In the final game of the night, Court Queens overcame Dynamite Divas 13–8 in an entertaining encounter. Dynamite Divas showed great spirit, but Court Queens’ steady approach made the difference.
A special mention goes to Josephine Oakden from We Don’t Give A Shot, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Despite her team’s result, her energy and overall performance stood out on the court.
As the season continues, teams will be looking to build on their performances and carry positive momentum into the coming weeks. The standard of play remains strong, and there is plenty to look forward to as the matches unfold.
