Hot off the courts this week, the Wells Tuesday social Netball league served up yet another evening of high intensity and heart-stopping action.
In a stunning display of netball finesse, 'What The Well?!' toppled 'All Too Well' with an impressive 12-1 win. Their swift passes, impenetrable defence and precision shooting were truly a sight to behold, propelling them to the top of the scorer's board for the week.
Not far behind, 'Well Behaved' had a decisive victory over 'Nets Get Ready', prevailing by 10-6. While the match was closely contested, 'Well Behaved' managed to pull ahead with their strategic play and quick reflexes.
The story was similar when 'Don't Dwell On It' squared off against the 'Magic Ballers', securing a 11-1 victory. Their brilliant teamwork and deft handlings of the ball show much much they have come along over the past few weeks. The scoreline does not reflect how close the match was as Magic Ballers gave 100% effort until the final whistle.
Meanwhile, 'Kiss My Pass' had a tough night, falling 0-8 to 'Drop It Like Its Shot'. Despite the result, the team's standout player, Jane Olliff, was recognised as the most valued player of the week for her tenacious play and undeterred spirit. Olliff's contributions to 'Kiss My Pass' have been instrumental, showcasing her immense talent and proving her to be a force to be reckoned with in the league.
