In the League, Shooting Stars and Everyone Wants To Play opened the evening in a fiercely contested match. Despite a valiant effort from the Shooting Stars, Everyone Wants To Play proved dominant, clinching a 16-4 victory. Their strategic play and relentless pace were a sight to behold, setting the bar high for the matches to follow.
As the evening progressed, the adrenaline kept pumping with Goals Aloud facing Goal Diggers. The latter emerged victorious with a 10-5 win, thanks to their impeccable team coordination and offensive prowess.
HotShots and We`ve Got This clashed next on the court, with the HotShots outscoring their opponents 9-3 in a game where defence reigned supreme.
Rounding out the night, Ball Busters and The Net Ballers locked horns in an intense match-up. Ball Busters, despite their best efforts, fell short with a 6-2 defeat. However, it wasn't all gloom for the Ball Busters as their star player, Harriet Gray, shone brilliantly, earning the title of the week's Most Valued Player. Gray's remarkable performance on the court demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, a true testament to the spirit of this league.
