WEEK 8 OF THE BIRMINGHAM TUESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

We will be moving outdoor to King Edward VI, Five Ways, Birmingham B32 4BT for the exam period

Week eight of the Birmingham Tuesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams continuing to build confidence and develop their play across the League. There were plenty of closely contested games, with all teams showing great effort and teamwork throughout the night.

In one of the fixtures, Stormers secured a 19-16 win over Goals of Glory in a closely played match. Both teams created good opportunities and showed strong movement on court, making it an engaging contest from start to finish.

Hoop Troops also recorded a 21-14 win against Pocket Rockets. It was a positive performance, with Hoop Troops showing good consistency, while Pocket Rockets continued to compete well and look for chances throughout the game.

Elsewhere, Goals Aloud earned a 20-5 win over Waseley Wizards. Their teamwork and organisation helped them take control of the match, while Waseley Wizards kept working hard and showed determination across the court.

Netbusters and Goal Diggers played out a competitive fixture, with Netbusters taking an 8-6 win. Both teams showed good defensive work and determination, making it a closely contested game throughout.

Goal Diggers also had a standout performer in Molly Cole, who was named Player of the Week. Her effort, leadership, and overall contribution on court were clear positives and reflected the spirit of the league.

Across the League, teams continue to improve each week, building confidence and enjoying their netball in a friendly and supportive environment.

As the season moves into week nine, there is plenty to look forward to, with more opportunities for teams to develop and enjoy their time on court. The League continues to provide a great balance of friendly competition and teamwork.
