Play in the Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball league
BIRMINGHAM – There was an enjoyable evening of netball on Tuesday as teams took to the court for week 7 of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball league. The league featured a number of competitive matches, close scorelines, and some strong individual and team performances throughout the night.
In one of the closest games, Waseley Wizards faced Goals Of Glory in a tightly contested match, with Goals Of Glory coming out on top 9–7. Despite the result, Wizards player Amy Broad delivered an excellent performance and was named Most Valuable Player of the week, recognising her effort, skill, and consistency on court.
Another notable result saw Goals Aloud secure a 25–4 win over Goal Diggers, reflecting a confident team display and good coordination throughout the match.
Elsewhere, Pocket Rockets earned a 21–17 win over Spice Goals in a well-matched game, while Hoop Troops edged past Netbusters 17–14 in another closely fought contest.
These results highlight the competitive and enjoyable nature of the league, with teams continuing to develop and build momentum as the season progresses. There have been plenty of positive performances so far, and the coming weeks promise more great netball.
As the season continues, it will be interesting to see how the league table evolves, with every team contributing to a fun and engaging competition.
