Birmingham Tuesday Netball League: Week 3 Round-Up
It was another great evening of netball as week 3 of the Birmingham Tuesday netball league brought plenty of enjoyable and competitive matches. Teams across the League continued to show positive energy, teamwork, and a great spirit on court.
Spice Goals put in a strong performance against Waseley Wizards, coming away with an 11–5 win. Their teamwork and consistency helped them take control of the game, while Waseley Wizards continued to show effort throughout.
Goal Diggers secured a 10–6 win over Stormers in a well-contested match. Both teams showed determination, with Goal Diggers making the most of their opportunities.
Goals Aloud delivered a confident performance against Hoop Troops, earning an 8–2 victory. Hoop Troops defended well, but Goals Aloud were able to find their rhythm and convert their chances.
This week’s standout player was Charlotte Fletcher from Pocket Rockets, who was named Most Valued Player. Her performance was a real highlight, showing great skill, leadership, and a positive presence on court.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all teams for their efforts in challenging conditions this week. Playing outdoors isn’t always easy, and we really appreciate everyone’s flexibility, positivity, and willingness to get the games played. We’re pleased to confirm that we will be back to normal at Waseley High School next week.
As the season continues, the Birmingham Tuesday netball league is shaping up to be a fun and competitive environment for all involved. We look forward to seeing how the teams progress over the coming weeks.
