Birmingham Tuesday Night Netball - Week 2

In the electrifying world of Birmingham Tuesday’s Night Netball league, Week 2 of the season drew to an explosive close last night.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

No division or county players are to be used at the league, please bear this in mind when using subs from outside the league. 

In the Premier League division, Goals Aloud secured a 14-8 win against Long Shots in a nail-biting encounter. Meanwhile, Nets And The City managed to come away with the win against Goals Of Glory in a fiercely contested match ending 17-13. Notably, Purple Thunder unleashed their prowess against Spice Goals with a 12-4 victory that left spectators in awe.

Moving onto Division 1, Goal Diggers fell short against Hoop Troops, losing 2-7 in a clash that showcased an impressive defensive game. However, the highlight of the night was the Stormers showcasing their skill against Waseley Wizards, with a 16-4 triumph.

Amidst all the high-stakes action, a shining star emerged in the form of Rachel Robbins from Waseley Wizards. Her extraordinary performances on the court bagged her the title of Most Valued Player for the week.

In the coming weeks of the league, all teams will undoubtedly be looking to ramp up their performances. It promises to be an exciting season – stay tuned for more action-packed netball showdowns.
