Week two of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams taking to the court in a series of competitive and well-balanced games.

In the league, Spice Goals secured a 16–3 win over Goals Aloud, showing strong teamwork and consistency throughout the match. Goals of Glory also delivered a confident performance, earning an 18–4 victory against Hoop Troops and putting themselves in a strong position early in the season.

Pocket Rockets continued their positive start with a 14–5 win over Goal Diggers. Both teams showed good effort, with Pocket Rockets making the most of their chances and maintaining control across the court.

One of the closer contests of the evening saw Stormers take on Waseley Wizards, with Stormers narrowly winning 10–7. It was an evenly matched game, with both sides competing well and keeping the scoreline tight until the closing stages.

A standout individual performance came from Charlotte Norman of Goals Aloud, who was named player of the week. Despite her team’s result, her contribution on the court was clear to see, with strong movement, determination, and a positive impact throughout the game.

As the season continues, it’s great to see teams settling in, developing their play, and enjoying their netball each week. With more fixtures still to come, there’s plenty to look forward to as the league progresses.
