Play in the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League
Congratulations to Spice goals who were this seasons winners in the Waseley league and to the runners up Stormers, also a huge well done to Sharon Lewis who was awarded the Most valued player of the season.
In a wonderful conclusion to the Birmingham Tuesday Netball league, the League saw some lovely performances last night in week 18, bringing the season to a close.
The evening featured plenty of competitive matches and great teamwork throughout. Goals Of Glory secured a well-earned 19–3 win against Goal Diggers, delivering a confident and composed performance. In another closely contested game, Hoop There It Is! claimed a 13–5 victory over Goals Aloud after an entertaining match enjoyed by everyone watching. Pocket Rockets also had a strong outing, recording a 16–9 win against Waseley Wizards to finish their season positively.
Elsewhere, Stormers earned a 5–0 result against Netbusters in a steady and disciplined display. Spice Goals rounded off the night with a 25–4 win over Hoop Troops, demonstrating consistent attacking play.
The evening also celebrated individual effort, with Sharon Lewis from Goals Aloud recognised as the most valued player of the week. Her positive attitude, skill, and sportsmanship reflected the true spirit of the League. Even in defeat, her performance stood out and offers real encouragement heading into next season.
Congratulations go to Spice Goals, who finished top of the League with 36 points and an impressive run of 18 wins. Their dedication and consistency throughout the season have been a great example for all teams.
As the final whistle blew, it brought a fantastic season to a close. We now look ahead with excitement to the next chapter of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League, where teams will return refreshed and ready for new challenges.
