League Update: Week 17 Round-Up

BIRMINGHAM, UK – The Birmingham Tuesday netball League enjoyed another positive evening of competition as Week 17 unfolded. The League fixtures brought together some of the area’s strongest teams, all showing great teamwork and commitment under the lights.

Stormers and Goal Diggers shared one of the closest matches of the night, with Stormers narrowly securing a 10–8 win. Both teams displayed resilience and determination throughout a well-balanced contest.

Spice Goals delivered a confident performance against Waseley Wizards, earning a 27–4 result. Despite the scoreline, Waseley Wizards showed great spirit, and Amy Broad was deservedly recognised as Most Valued Player for her effort and consistency on court.

Goals Aloud faced Hoop Troops in another competitive fixture, coming away with a 19–12 win in a game that highlighted strong attacking play. Goals Of Glory recorded a 5–0 victory over Netbusters, with a disciplined defensive display proving key.

Rounding off the evening, Hoop There It Is! claimed a 10–5 win against Pocket Rockets in a lively and evenly matched game.

As the Birmingham Tuesday netball League moves toward the final weeks of the season, the League table remains exciting and closely contested. Well done to all teams for their continued sportsmanship and commitment. We now look ahead to Week 18.
