The Birmingham Tuesday You Play Netball league moved into Week 16 last night, with teams continuing to compete well as the season approaches its final stages. With just two weeks remaining, every match is proving important in the race at the top of the league.

The closest contest of the evening saw Hoop Troops take on Goals Of Glory in a well-balanced and competitive game. Hoop Troops edged the result 15–13 after a closely fought match. Despite the narrow defeat, Nicole Edginton of Goals Of Glory delivered an excellent performance and was deservedly named this week’s Most Valued Player for her energy, composure, and impact throughout the game.

Pocket Rockets produced a confident display in their 21–8 win over Goal Diggers, maintaining steady control across all four quarters. Hoop There It Is! also enjoyed a positive result, earning a 5–0 victory against Netbusters with a disciplined defensive performance.

Spice Goals impressed with a strong 27–7 win over Goals Aloud, demonstrating consistent shooting and effective teamwork across the court. In another fixture, Stormers secured a solid 12–6 victory over Waseley Wizards in a competitive match.

With only two weeks left in the season, the competition remains open and exciting. Teams will be looking to finish strongly and secure their places for the upcoming season as spaces begin to fill.
