A Lively Week of Netball Action in Birmingham
Week 14 of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball in the heart of the city, with teams continuing to show commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm on court. Across the league, matches were played in great spirit, with plenty of positive performances to celebrate.
Goals Aloud put together a strong all-round display against Goal Diggers, finishing with a 26–9 win. Their movement and communication were key throughout the game, allowing them to build momentum and maintain control from start to finish.
Goals Of Glory faced Waseley Wizards in a competitive match that saw both teams working hard for every goal. Goals Of Glory gradually pulled ahead to secure an 18–10 victory, reflecting their consistency and teamwork across the court.
Hoop There It Is! also enjoyed a successful outing, earning a 22–14 win against Stormers. Their determination and steady play helped them make the most of their opportunities and secure a well-earned result.
Pocket Rockets and Spice Goals shared an energetic contest, with Spice Goals coming away with a 22–13 victory. Despite the result, Pocket Rockets’ Alexandra Darwood-Hurst delivered an impressive performance, earning the Most Valued Player award for her impact and effort throughout the match.
The evening was rounded off with a confident showing from Hoop Troops, who claimed a 16–8 win against Netbusters. Both teams played with enthusiasm, but Hoop Troops’ organisation and teamwork helped them see out the game.
As the season continues, the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League remains full of energy and enjoyment. With teams supporting one another and matches played in great spirit, there’s plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
