Birmingham Tuesday Night Netball - Week 1

The eagerly anticipated Birmingham Tuesday Netball league ushered in its new season last night, and it was nothing short of spectacular. 

In the Premier League, Spice Goals triumphed against Goals Aloud in a spectacular display of skill and strategy with a score of 20-4. The evening saw another nail-biter as Nets And The City narrowly beat Long Shots 13-11 in a fiercely contested match while Goals Of Glory managed to edge out Purple Thunder 13-11.

Over in Division 1, Goal Diggers set the bar high with a robust 4-0 victory over Waseley Wizards, and Stormers secured a victory against Hoop There It Is!, finalizing at 14-4.

The league saw some exceptional performances, but it was Jasmine Smith of Hoop Troops who stole the show as the Most Valued Player of the week. 

This season opener sets an exciting precedent for the rest of the season. If the first week is anything to go by, players have a thrilling season filled with skill, strategy, and suspense to look forward to.
