The Leighton Buzzard Monday Night Netball League wrapped up its 14th and final week of the season with plenty of smiles, great teamwork and some lovely netball on show.

There was a close and friendly battle between Leightning Bolts and Buzzard Ballers, finishing in a 6–6 draw. Joanne Chamberlain from Buzzard Ballers had a fantastic game and was named Player of the Week after a brilliant all-round performance. Her energy and teamwork really summed up what the league is all about.

Elsewhere, Kestrels enjoyed a 13–9 win over Don’t Be Leight, while Leight’s Get It edged past Wildcats in a tight 8–7 game. Net Ballsnatchers finished their season on a high with a 15–3 win over Chasing Shadows, rounding off a consistently strong run of form.

After 14 weeks of netball, Net Ballsnatchers finished top of the Premier League division with 26 points from 13 wins — a fantastic achievement and well deserved after a season of commitment and team spirit.

More than anything, the season has been about getting active, catching up with friends and enjoying some great Monday night netball. It’s been wonderful to see the support, encouragement and community feel across all teams.
