Leighton Buzzard Monday YouPlay Netball news 2026-04-13

It was another enjoyable evening in week 7 of the Leighton Buzzard Monday Night Netball League, with all teams taking to the court and putting in great effort. There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the night, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and positive play on display.

Buzzard Ballers had a strong game against Leightning Bolts, coming away with an 18–4 win. Both teams showed great spirit, with plenty of good passages of play.

Kestrels and Don’t Be Leight shared a closely contested match, with Kestrels edging it 9–6. It was a well-balanced game, with both sides working hard and supporting each other throughout.

Leight’s Get It enjoyed a solid performance against Wildcats, winning 17–10. Wildcats should still be proud of their efforts, and a special mention goes to Isobel Kirtley, who was named Player of the Week for her fantastic contribution and energy on court.

Net Ballsnatchers also had a strong game against Chasing Shadows, finishing 23–3. Both teams showed great determination and commitment from start to finish.

Overall, it was a brilliant evening of netball, with lots of smiles, teamwork, and great sportsmanship across all matches. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next week!
