Play in the Leighton Buzzard Monday Netball League

Week five of the Leighton Buzzard Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with all teams showing great effort and teamwork across the Division.

Net Ballsnatchers had a strong game, taking a 20–3 win over Wildcats. They worked well together across the court, while Wildcats kept going throughout and showed great determination.

Leight’s Get It and Kestrels played out a closely matched 9–9 draw, with both teams evenly balanced and supporting each other throughout. It was a great example of how competitive yet positive the league has been this season.

Chasing Shadows secured a 7–3 win against Buzzard Ballers in a well-contested game, while Don’t Be Leight came away with a 15–5 win over Leightning Bolts. Across both matches, all teams showed good movement, teamwork, and plenty of effort from start to finish.

A special mention goes to Iona Heffernan of Leightning Bolts, who was named Player of the Week for her standout performance and positive contribution on court.

Overall, it was another great week of netball, with players continuing to build confidence, support one another, and enjoy their games. We’re looking forward to more of the same in the coming weeks.
