Play in the Leighton Buzzard Monday Netball League

Week four of the Leighton Buzzard Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams showing great teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship throughout.

The night began with ‘Leight’s Get It’ taking on ‘Net Ballsnatchers’. Both teams put in a strong effort, with Net Ballsnatchers finding a good rhythm and coming away with a 25–2 result.

Next up, ‘Buzzard Ballers’ faced ‘Kestrels’ in a friendly and well-played match. Buzzard Ballers settled into the game nicely and finished with a 6–0 score.

‘Don’t Be Leight’ then met ‘Chasing Shadows’ in a lively game, with plenty of positive play from both sides. Chasing Shadows edged ahead to finish 6–3.

The final game of the evening saw ‘Leightning Bolts’ play ‘Wildcats’. It was an enjoyable and close match, with Leightning Bolts finishing 7–4.

A special mention goes to Bethany Smith from Wildcats, whose excellent effort and positive play earned her the “Most Valued Player” award for the week.

As we head into the next round, it’s great to see everyone enjoying the games, improving each week, and supporting one another on and off the court.
