Week seven of the Leighton Buzzard Monday netball league brought another fun and lively evening on court, with teams enjoying some great netball and plenty of positive team spirit.
The match between the Kestrels and Wildcats was closely contested and enjoyable to watch, with the Wildcats finishing just ahead at 9–7. Sarah Wright of the Kestrels stood out with her energy and strong all-round play, earning her the Most Valuable Player award for the week.
Net Ballsnatchers and Don’t Be Leight shared an upbeat and energetic game, with Net Ballsnatchers finding their rhythm and finishing 31–4. The match highlighted confident teamwork and smooth passing, making it a great example of how enjoyable the game can be when players work together.
Chasing Shadows and the Leightning Bolts met in another friendly but focused fixture, with Chasing Shadows taking a 16–5 win. The Leightning Bolts showed great determination throughout the game and continue to build momentum as the season progresses.
The Buzzard Ballers and Leight’s Get It enjoyed a close and engaging match, with the Ballers coming away with an 8–4 result. Both teams showed strong teamwork and encouragement on court, making for a positive and social game.
As week seven comes to a close, the Leighton Buzzard Monday netball league remains a welcoming and enjoyable place to play, bringing together players of all abilities for relaxed, friendly netball each week.
