Unsworth Tuesday Week 9 - 7/4/26
Just a reminder that we are a social, friendly, back to netball league. We don't encourage extreme competition, all our players should behave in a sportsmanlike manner on court. There should not be excessive contact in any of our matches, we do not tolerate this as an organisation and our umpires reserve the right to stop you from playing if you break these rules. All players in your team must be registered with us on our website in order to play in our league.

Week 9 brought another fantastic evening of netball, with the League division delivering plenty of action, energy, and great sportsmanship all round.
The standout match of the night saw Netspressos and Unstoppables go head-to-head in a truly thrilling contest. It couldn’t have been closer, with Netspressos just sneaking the win 12–11. Both teams played brilliantly from start to finish, showing determination, skill, and teamwork that kept everyone watching right on the edge of their seats.
Goal Diggers showed exactly why they’re such a strong side this season with a dominant 9–1 victory over Worth A Shot. Their confident play, sharp movement, and solid teamwork really shone through, making a big statement as the league heats up.
Another strong performance came from Uns & Roses, who secured an impressive 11–2 win against Phoenix Rising. While the scoreline was tough for Phoenix Rising, their effort and attitude never dropped, and they kept pushing right until the final whistle.
A special mention goes to Imogen Younis from Phoenix Rising, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Despite her team’s result, she delivered an outstanding individual performance, showing real determination, skill, and composure throughout the game. She was a true standout on court and a credit to her team.
As we head into Week 10, things are getting really exciting! Can Goal Diggers keep their winning streak going? And will Phoenix Rising, led by the in-form Younis, bounce back stronger?
