Unsworth Tuesday Week 1 - 5/5/26

The Unsworth Tuesday Netball League got off to a fantastic start this week, with teams in the League division taking to the court for their first games of the season. It was great to see so much energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork on display, setting a positive tone for the weeks ahead.

One of the standout games of the evening was between the Stars and Uns & Roses. The Stars had a strong start, showing great coordination and confidence to secure a 23–1 win. Both teams brought plenty of effort to the court, and it was a valuable first match of the season for everyone involved.

The Unstoppables also enjoyed a solid opening game, coming away with a 7–0 win against Worth A Shot. It was a well-fought match, with both sides showing determination and commitment throughout.

This week’s Most Valuable Player was Louise Hadcroft from the Unstoppables. Louise made a big impact with her movement, shooting, and defensive play, and her contribution really helped support her team.

With the season just beginning, there’s plenty of time for all teams to grow, develop, and enjoy their netball. It’s shaping up to be a fun and rewarding season, and it’ll be great to see how everyone progresses over the coming weeks.
