Greetings netball enthusiasts,

The fifth week of the social netball season at Two Rivers High School was nothing short of delightful. The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the universal love of netball. Players of varying experience levels thrived on the court, relishing the friendly competition and joyous spirit of the game.

The Division 1 teams brought a spirited energy to the court. Rivers Tigers and River Alliance shared an exciting match, finishing with a score of 11-5 in favour of River Alliance. The commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship from both sides were commendable. Meanwhile, River Golds and River Riders, as well as River Unity and River Chicks, kept spectators on their toes with a thrilling display of netball, both games ending in a fair and square draw.

In Division 2, Rivers Phoenix and River Sevens, as well as River Rapids and River Hot Shots, matched each other in skills and strategy, resulting in balanced scorelines. The game between River Dancers and Rivers Swimmers ended with a score of 17-9 in favour of Rivers Swimmers. The dedication and positive energy from both teams were captivating, contributing to an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

A special mention goes out to Tamara Gibbs from Rivers Swimmers, the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm and agility on the court, combined with a positive attitude, were greatly appreciated by both her teammates and opponents.

As we look forward to the sixth week, we encourage everyone to keep up the spirit of social netball - staying active, developing skills, and nurturing friendships in a supportive environment. With just two weeks of matches left, it's a perfect time for anyone thinking about joining to come and experience the fun of social netball!

Warmly,
The Social Netball Team at Two Rivers High School.
