Play in the Tamworth Thursday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

As the sun dipped down behind Two Rivers High School, the thirteenth week of our social netball season came to life with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Players of all experience levels laced up their shoes, and the courts filled with the vibrant energy of friendly competition. It was another great night of netball that epitomised the spirit of our community.

The first match of the evening in the Division 1 group featured River Alliance and Rivers Divas. The final whistle sounded with the score 26-14 in favour of River Alliance. The game was a fantastic showcase of teamwork and sportsmanship, with both teams demonstrating a positive energy that resonated across the court.

In Division 2, River Sevens and River Queens participated in an engaging match with River Sevens finishing the game with a score of 11-5. Both teams' commitment to the game and to each other was unmistakable, their joy and passion for the sport touching everyone present.

A well-deserved special mention must be given to our Most Valued Player of the week: Steph Fitz-Harris from the River Cruisers. Steph’s enthusiasm, impressive movement around the court and her overall positive contribution did not go unnoticed. Both her teammates and opponents greatly appreciated her sportsmanship.

The evening drew to a close, leaving us all looking forward to next week's matches. As we continue into Week 14, we are excited for another evening of social netball, where we get to stay active, meet new people, and develop our netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. We continue to celebrate the spirit of our community and the love for the game that brings us together, week after week. Here's to more great netball evenings to come!
