What a splendid evening it was at Two Rivers High School! Week 11 of our social netball season brought together a beautiful blend of players from all experience levels, taking part in a delightful night of netball. The atmosphere was brimming with camaraderie, laughter and the love for the sport.
The first match saw River Alliance and Rivers Phoenix light up the court with their exceptional teamwork. River Alliance ended the game with a score of 35-6. Players from both teams radiated positive energy, commitment, and high spirits, making it an enjoyable game for everyone.
Next up, Rivers Swimmers and Rivers Divas delivered an exciting draw with a scoreline of 10-10. The highlight of the match was the sportsmanship displayed by both teams, proving once again that it’s not all about winning, but the spirit in which the game is played.
River Unity and River Warriors shared the court next, with River Unity finishing with a score of 23-3. The game was marked by a mutual appreciation of each other’s movements around the court and the evident enjoyment of each moment by both teams.
In the final Division 1 match, River Blacks and River Riders played an exhilarating game with River Riders finishing with a score of 20-16. The commitment and positive energy from both teams was palpable and appreciated by all spectators.
It was a special night for River Golds, who finished their game with River Hot Shots at 10-3. Their enthusiasm and team spirit was particularly noteworthy.
River Rapids and River Dancers wrapped up our Division 2 matches with a score of 16-5 in favour of River Rapids. Despite the score, both teams were full of smiles, embodying the friendly nature of social netball.
River Sevens and River Cruisers also shared quite the match, ending with a score of 11-7 in favour of River Cruisers. The game was played in great spirit with excellent teamwork on display from both sides.
A special mention goes to our most valued player of the evening. Their enthusiasm, movement around the court and positive contribution did not go unnoticed by teammates, opponents and spectators alike.
Looking ahead, we can't wait for Week 12 to roll around with another evening of friendly social netball. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stay active, meet new people and further develop your netball skills in a supportive environment. Stay tuned for more netball fun at Two Rivers High School!
