Play in the Tamworth Thursday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

The warmth of a friendly competition filled the air at Two Rivers High School during Week 7 of their enjoyable social netball season. The evening was a celebration of sportsmanship and community, featuring players with varied experience from seasoned pros to eager beginners, all coming together for a night of netball fun.

In the Division 1 group, Alliance and Unity played a thrilling match that ended with Alliance securing a 21-19 score. The game was marked by an energetic display of teamwork and commitment from both sides, truly encapsulating the spirit of social netball. Elsewhere in the Division 1 group, the River Blacks and Rivers Swimmers shared a court, with the River Blacks concluding the game with 22 points to the Swimmers' 5. Both teams showcased exceptional spirit and camaraderie, which was a joy to witness.

Over in the Division 2 group, the River Golds and River Sevens took to the court. The River Golds finished with a respectable score of 15-7. Despite the scoreline, both teams demonstrated admirable sportsmanship and positive energy throughout the match. Meanwhile, River Chicks and River Hot Shots delivered a dynamic performance, with River Chicks ending the game with 24 points to River Hot Shots' 2. The commitment and drive from both teams were commendable, making for an enjoyable game.

The Most Valued Player of the week was Siska Donovan from River Dancers. Siska’s enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court was impressive, and her positive contribution to the match was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 8, we anticipate another fantastic evening of friendly social netball. Whether you're there to keep active, meet new people or develop your netball skills, you're sure to find a supportive and welcoming environment at Two Rivers High School.
