Play in the Tamworth Thursday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

Last Thursday evening, Two Rivers High School became a hub of energy, camaraderie and friendly competition. It was Week 6 of the social netball season and players of all experience levels came together, sharing in the spirit of this great game. The atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming, as always, with everyone eager to step on the court and have a ball.

In the Division 1 group, Rivers Divas and Alliance played an enjoyable match. Alliance finished the game with a score of 28-7, showcasing their teamwork and commitment throughout the game. River Warriors and Rivers Phoenix also played a lively game with a final score of 15-5 in favor of the Warriors. The players showed great sportsmanship and the game was played in high spirits. Another game that caught everyone's attention was between River Blacks and Unity, ending with a score of 18-9, with Unity on the winning side. Each match was a testament to the positive energy shared by all teams.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, River Dancers and River Golds played an amicable game which ended with River Golds leading 19-9. River Chicks and River Rapids had a close and exciting match that ended with River Chicks ahead at 18-13. The matches in this group were fantastic examples of the dedication and spirit of the players.

A special mention goes to Maxine Yates from River Chicks who was recognized as the Most Valued Player of the week. Maxine's enthusiasm, strategic movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated by both her teammates and opponents alike. It was a delight to see her in action, setting a great example for everyone.

As we look forward to Week 7, we're excited for another evening of friendly social netball. This is not just about keeping active and playing the game, but also about meeting new people, developing netball skills, and being part of a supportive, welcoming community.
