Week 4 of the Tamworth Thursday Netball League saw another enjoyable evening of action at Two Rivers High School, with teams continuing to compete in a positive and welcoming environment.

In Division 1, Alliance took on River Riders in a competitive fixture. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment throughout the match, producing an entertaining contest and setting the tone for the evening's action.

River Blacks then faced River Warriors in another well-fought encounter. Both sides worked hard across the court, displaying determination and good organisation throughout the match. The game reflected the competitive nature of the division while maintaining the league's friendly atmosphere.

The final Division 1 fixture saw Unity take on Rivers Divas. Both teams showed excellent teamwork and resilience throughout a closely contested game, contributing to another enjoyable contest.

In Division 2, River Golds faced River Chicks in a match played in excellent spirits. Both teams approached the game with enthusiasm and energy, showcasing strong effort and commitment throughout.

The final fixture of the evening saw River Sevens take on River Dancers. Both teams demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship, providing an entertaining conclusion to another successful week of netball.

Player of the Week

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Emma Powell from River Sevens. Emma delivered an excellent performance, demonstrating great movement, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the evening. Her contribution was recognised by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.

Looking Ahead

With Week 4 complete, teams will now look ahead to the next round of fixtures as the season continues. The league remains a fantastic opportunity for players to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
