Tamworth Thursday Night Netball - Week 7
In the first game of the evening River Riders emerged victorious against Rivers Swimmers with a score of 13-8. Following closely, River Warriors played against Rivers Phoenix in a riveting match-up, resulting in a 13-6 victory for the Warriors. In the the closest match of the night, River Hot Shots edged out River Rebels 12-10.
In an unexpected turn of events, River Vixens and Rivers Runners ended up in a 13-13 deadlock, a testament to the closely matched skills and strategies on both sides.
Rivers Divas dominated with an impressive 32-2 triumph over River Chicks, cementing their position as one of the top contenders in the league. The Divas showcased their defensive prowess and offensive efficiency, leaving no room for the Chicks to make a significant impact on the scoreboard.
The spotlight of the week shone brightly on Vicki V E Broad from the River Hot Shots, who was crowned as the 'Most Valued Player'. Displaying exceptional agility, accurate shooting, and unparalleled teamwork, Broad's performance was key to her team's narrow victory against the River Rebels.
