The Tamworth Thursday League Netball competition was a hub of excitement and action last night as the teams battled it out in the fourth week of the season.

In an exhilarating display of skill and sportsmanship, the River Riders took a commanding lead against the River Chicks with a remarkable score of 39-5, showing their prowess on the court. The River Vixens, not far behind, delivered a strong performance, defeating the River Rebels 28-4.

The crowd was particularly impressed by the River Warriors' strategic approach to the game, which led them to a convincing 29-6 victory against the River Hot Shots. The Rivers Divas also managed to find their rhythm, overpowering the Rivers Swimmers with a final score of 24-7. Meanwhile, the Rivers Runners outshone Rivers Phoenix with a clear advantage of 17-5.

Amidst the matches, one player stood out distinctively. Emily Forest of the River Hot Shots was crowned the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's loss, Forest's performance was a shining beacon of resilience and determination.
