The River Runners blazed through the field, hands down, defeating the River Chicks with a whopping score of 39-2. The Runners demonstrated an irresistible force throughout the match, leaving no room for the Chicks to make a comeback. Their precision in passing and shooting was simply awe-inspiring, further strengthening their position within the league.

Meanwhile, in another thunderous clash, the River Divas outclassed the River Hot Shots with a score of 23-8. The Divas' offensive tactics and agility all over the court announced their dominance, leaving the Hot Shots with a lot to ponder upon for their upcoming matches.

The River Warriors showed their mettle by triumphing over the River Rebels, ending the game with a 14-7 score. The Warriors' robust defence managed to keep the Rebels' attack at bay, ensuring their victory.

In the final match of the evening, River Vixens outplayed River Riders 26-8. Despite the loss, the Riders' star player Chelsey Hughes stood out as the most valued player of the week, with an exceptional performance on the court. Hughes' speed, accuracy, and game awareness were just a few of the qualities that made her the standout player on the night.

The League of the Tamworth Thursday League proved once again to be a hotbed of excitement, skill, and high-octane netball action. The teams' performances have set the course for the rest of the season and we anticipate even more thrilling games in the coming weeks.
