In a thrilling round of the Tamworth Thursday Netball league, teams battled it out in a vibrant display of skill, agility, and sportsmanship in week three of the season. The two divisions involved - Division 1 and Division 2 - saw fierce competition and unexpected outcomes that solidified the standings of some teams and rocked the boat for others.

In Division 1, River Hot Shots made a remarkable performance against Rivers Phoenix with a dominating score of 22-7, showcasing their versatility and team spirit. In another intense match, Rivers Divas triumphed over Rivers Swimmers with a decisive score of 21-11. The final match of the division was a nail-biter, with River Riders pulling off a narrow victory over River Warriors, ending the game with a score of 16-12.

When the dust settled in the Division 2 court, River Blacks displayed immaculate team coordination, securing a commanding lead over River Rapids with a score of 23-3. One of the closest matches of the night, River Chicks eked out a win against River Dancers with a tight 9-8 finish.

The standout player of the week was the remarkable Bethany Astley from Rivers Swimmers. Despite her team's defeat, Astley's exceptional performance on the court did not go unnoticed, earning her the title of Most Valued Player of the week. Her display of athleticism, tactical skill, and unyielding spirit was a testament to the spirit of the game.

The top scorers for Division 1 were River Hot Shots with a total of 22 goals, while Division 2 was dominated by River Blacks with a staggering 23 goals. As the league progresses, these teams have set the bar high for their competitors.
