Tamworth Thursday Netball - Week 6
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the nail-biting clash between the Rivers Swimmers and River Hoops, where the Swimmers emerged victorious with a 10-6 triumph. Despite their loss, the River Hoops showcased their tenacity, with their star player, Maisie Flatley, giving an unforgettable performance that won her the title of the "Most Valued Player" of the week. Her skill, agility and commitment to the game were on full display, leaving the spectators in awe.
The glamour of the League continued with the Rivers Phoenix battling against Rivers Divas. The Divas took the game by storm, snatching a remarkable 19-9 win over the Phoenix. The thrilling match between the River Chicks and River Sevens was a close call, with the Sevens finally taking the lead by 13-11.
Finally, the League saw an adrenaline-charged face-off between the River Hot Shots and River Riders. It was a game of high stakes, with the Riders clinching a 22-18 victory over the Hot Shots. The passion and the intensity of the players were palpable in the heated competition.
