Tamworth Thursday Netball League - Week 3

In a thrilling display of sportsmanship at Tamworth Thursday, the Netball League, witnessed high energy and intense competition during its third week. 

In a series of nail-biting encounters, the League showcased both seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, keeping the crowd on edge throughout the night. Setting the tone for the evening, a riveting match saw River Hoops go up against River Riders. Despite a valiant effort, River Hoops succumbed to River Riders, 19-6.

The excitement continued to mount as the Rivers Divas took on the River Hot Shots next. In what can only be described as a hotly contested battle, the Divas scraped a victory, ending the game at 18-15. The edge-of-the-seat action persisted when River Warriors narrowly edged out River Sevens, 11-8, in a game that was decided in the closing minutes.

Meanwhile, Rivers Phoenix demonstrated their prowess on the court, leaving little room for Rivers Swimmers to make a comeback, concluding their game at 13-4.

Rounding off the night's performances, it was Stephanie Croft from Rivers Swimmers who stole the spotlight. Despite her team's result, her outstanding performance on the court did not go unnoticed. She was named the most valued player of the week, a testament to her skill, and a beacon of hope for her team moving forward.

As the Tamworth Thursday League continues to unfold, the competition seems to get fiercer with each passing week. The League promises more electrifying matches as the top scorers from each team set their sights on claiming victory in the upcoming matches.
