It was another exciting evening of action in the Tamworth Thursday Netball League powered by You Play Netball, with teams across both divisions putting in fantastic performances during week eight of the season.

In Division 1, River Blacks were in great form as they secured an impressive 20-9 win over Rivers Phoenix with some excellent teamwork and sharp shooting throughout the game. Rivers Divas also enjoyed success, defeating River Warriors 16-11 in a closely contested match. A special mention goes to Danielle Banner, whose outstanding performance earned her the title of Most Valued Player of the week.

River Riders rounded off the division with a dominant display, claiming a convincing 26-8 victory over River Hot Shots.

Over in Division 2, River Sevens put in a strong performance to beat River Chicks 19-10, while Rivers Swimmers secured a solid 16-4 win against River Rapids. River Cruisers also had a successful evening, defeating River Dancers 15-4 with some excellent play across the court.

With just two weeks left of the season, the competition is really starting to heat up, and every game is proving important. The league continues to provide a fantastic atmosphere each week, with plenty of friendly competition, teamwork, and great sportsmanship on show from all teams involved.

Well done to everyone who took part, and good luck to all teams heading into the final weeks of the season. We can’t wait to see how the season finishes!
