In an adrenaline-fueled evening of netball, the Tamworth Thursday  league saw fierce competition in its League division this week. The pulsating games of Week 8 delivered some surprising results, shaking the standings and setting the stage for an enthralling finish to the season.

The spotlight was undoubtedly on the high-octane between Rivers Divas and River Warriors. After a nail-biting match, the Divas emerged victorious with a 16-13 win. River Warriors, despite the loss, had their star player, Kerrie Bailey, shine the brightest amongst all, proving her mettle and clinching the most valued player of the week.

Rivers Swimmers showed their might against River Sevens, cruising to a decisive 21-3 victory. The Swimmers unleashed a wave of attacks, leaving the Sevens struggling to keep their heads above water.

Meanwhile, River Rapids were swept off their feet by the River Riders, who took away a resounding 25-8 win. The Riders demonstrated their superiority, making a strong case for their championship contention.

In another highlight fixture, Rivers Phoenix rose from the ashes to secure a commanding 20-8 win over River Hoops. The Phoenix team showed their resolve and determination, carving out a solid win.

The final battle of the night saw River Chicks take on River Hot Shots. Despite a valiant effort from the Chicks, the Hot Shots managed to secure a 14-8 victory, keeping their championship dreams alive.
