Week 7 brought another brilliant evening of netball in Tamworth, with plenty of energy, teamwork, and great moments across both divisions.

In Division 1, River Riders and River Blacks went head-to-head in a competitive and hard-fought game, with both teams showing great determination throughout. River Divas delivered a really strong performance, working seamlessly as a team and showing great confidence on court. Rivers Phoenix and River Warriors also put on an exciting match, with both sides battling well and keeping the intensity high from start to finish.

Over in Division 2, River Dancers and River Chicks played out an entertaining game, while River Rapids and River Cruisers treated spectators to a closely contested matchup with lots of end-to-end play. River Sevens and Rivers Swimmers rounded off the evening with a well-matched game, highlighting the effort and improvement across both teams.

A big congratulations to Steph Fitz-Harris from River Cruisers, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player after a fantastic all-round performance and great contribution to her team.

It’s clear that every team is growing in confidence and working hard each week, making for a really enjoyable and competitive league. With the season progressing, there’s still plenty to play for—and lots more exciting netball to come in the Tamworth Thursday League!
